چکیده
Additive manufacturing (AM) processes are reliable techniques to build highly complex metallic parts. Direct energy deposition (DED) is one of the most common technologies 3D print metal alloys. Despite a wide range literature that has discussed ability DED in printing, weak binding, poor accuracy, and rough surface still exist final products. Thus, limitations printing powder wire indicate post-processing required achieve high quality both mechanical properties quality. Therefore, hybrid (HM), specifically additive/subtractive (ASHM) been proposed enhance product ASHM capable process combines two with 3-axis or multi-axis machines. Different methods have suggested increase accuracy machines find better microstructure. In contrast, drawbacks such as existing materials machine coordination avoid collision multi-axes machine. It should be noted there no review work focuses on hybridization processes. this work, unique study comparison well novel objective showing capabilities each benefits using them for different applications. Finally, new gaps layer bonding processes' effects microstructures performance. The development revolutionary makes use simplex additive subtractive machining. technique improves part's geometric dimensional via directed combined machining process. This paper offers comprehensive detailed analysis state-of-the-art

متن کاملProcess Planning for Shape Deposition Manufacturing
Solid Freeform Fabrication (SFF) refers to a class of rapid manufacturing process that builds parts by incremental material deposition and fusion of thin 2-1/2 dimensional layers. Over this past decade, SFF has taken the manufacturing industry to new heights. However, parts produced by SFF processes exhibit a stair-step surface texture due to the presence of 2-1/2 dimensional layers and exhibit...
